I have set up some slide shows of somethings I have done over 40 years of drawing. Creating things keeps me going. I know I will never do all the stuff in my head, but I will try. I had a teacher once tell me that my art always shows a story, something to look at, and figure what is going on. You just don't look at it, you become invested in it. That sounds like a big accomplishment to do with a pencil. Being an artist, I can keep telling my stories, but when I create art for others, I am illustrating their stories as well. It is a very humbling experience to do that for others. That is a lot of trust to give someone...With a pencil.

The next set of drawings are my superheroes. I have an unusual gift. I can see the hero in people. They tell me about themselves, and I create a character that fits that person. I may even write a short story or origin about them. I think if a person has a reminder of how great they are, it could elevate how they feel about themselves. One thing I learned in life is that a fault, or disease, or handicap, or mental conditioning, should not stop anyone from being extraordinary. My silly little superheroes or adventurers are just a chance for someone to see their ultimate self.

I also write a little

So far in my life, I have written three books. All of them can be purchased at Amazon.

Kenny-Isms: I wrote this book when some people told me I should write down all my smart mouth lines down. It ended up becoming an autobiography, motivational, and has over 600 Kenny-isms. It is a fun read.

Christmas Coal: I wanted to challenge myself by taking a little used object from Christmas and create a new story book about it. I found a reason why coal is a good gift to get. My daughter and I illustrated it. It's great for parents and grandparents to read to their children.

Methuselah and the Congregation: I had to write at least one superhero story. The idea is that Methuselah did not die during the Great Flood. He survived and ended up being an agent for God. He quickly befriends a demon who wants to be good. My idea is if an Angel can fall, why can't the Devil's minion not become good. They go through history keeping the balance of good and evil level. They were actually the reason the Cuyahoga River caught fire. Eventually time catches up with now, and God wants Methuselah to form a team to fight the demonic war that is on the horizon.

Santa I: This is my new book that I am working on. It is about a man who hires a detective to go and find Santa Claus. This is not a children's book. It is an adult novel. I hope to have it for sale before Thanksgiving.
